We Worked IT!
Over the last 12 years we have worked with 6 primary schools and 1 community center on a grassroots level. We will continue to work in these areas providing tech resources and support. We believe strongly in funding teachers in project based learning so that students can see, feel and learn practical skills useful for future enterprises.
New Horizons Were Beckoning
We were pining to make a bigger impact. We love working with primary teachers and students but we want to combat lack of skills, lack of employment and lack of educational resources nationwide. Only 1 in 4 attend high school, so we decided that expanding high school education would give us access to older students who would soon enter the workforce. Giving them more options to build the infrastructure of Uganda, developing their natural resources and build sustainable careers for themselves is a next step.
Vocational School
Over the last two years, we searched for a place to build a Secondary Vocational School where we could continue our mission of providing skills to children, practical skills, to enhance their theoretical curriculum. What we found instead is a way to add power to the wheels of a very successful secondary vocational school. Instead of re-inventing the wheel, especially because starting from scratch is difficult from such a great distance, we can make a bigger impact by partnering. All of our efforts have culminated in this partnership. Their mission is totally aligned with ours. Their model is one we follow. So exciting!
Our Partner
Made up of both Ugandans and Americans, this well-supported network, the Musana network is inspirational. They are building their third vocational high school with two others on the way! We approached them with the idea of adding a new vocation-- The Computer Scientist! We are thrilled that they have given us the space to create a state of the art Computer Facility where we will train a cadre of high school students in 21 st century skills. The sketch on the left is how we began. Wait until you see the finished product! Stay tuned!

Our Kids! We are so grateful to our sponsors for enabling us to take these children off the streets and into school! They are a family! This is a brand new initiative and we are overjoyed at how far we are able to go to help these kids go as far as they can.

Our Mission
At Ventures for Good, our mission is to:
